Summary : Not worth it.
I received this alarm clock as a Christmas present. Sometimes when I plug my iPhone into the top slot, the entire clock goes dead. I have to disconnect the electrical plug, wait 10-15 seconds and then plug it back in. This happens about 50% of the time. Since my daughter gave it to me, I don't want to hurt her feelings; hopefully, I will be able to buy myself a new one soon (stick with Sony).

Summary : Great Value, Solid Construction, Good options
The tuner works great, the ipod interface works as expected. Two alarms that are easy to set. The sound quality leaves a little to be desired, but if you turn on bass boost, it helps. I replaced and ihome unit that had started a squealing noise at low volumes. Great to have a radio if you left your ipod in the car. For the money, this is a great product. As usual, RCA delivers the goods.

I received this as a gift and loved it until 2 months later when it stopped working. I had no problems with set up or using my Ipod;then one day it suddenly goes out and has not worked since.

Summary : Total junk - do NOT purchase!
My husband and I selected these clock radios to go with IPOD Touches for both our kids this past Christmas. THEY ARE TOTAL JUNK - one arrived with the face plate broken off, and my son's from the get-go made it difficult to charge his IPOD. Just two short months later, both completely do not work. They won't charge their IPODs, play music and my son's time/light display totally blanked out. It won't even tell time! Oh, and someone else reviewed that they sounded good (which is what sold us) - not true - they sound like crap. DO NOT BUY!

Summary : simple ipod alarm clock
I just got this last night, so I haven't tried EVERY button......
But I wanted to say that this does work with iPhones. I wanted a simple, inexpensive alarm clock that I can use to charge my phone at night. The sound was okay, it's no iHome, but it's cheap. I didn't notice any speaker/phone interference issues, but I didn't leave it turned on. I am unsure if my ringer would be heard with the phone docked and speakers turned off, I have to play with this still. You get the message about an unapproved device and airplane mode when you dock it, but that is easy enough to say no.
Overall, it is what I wanted. A cheap clock radio that charges my phone.
